Projects We Supported

Improving the environment for recovery with Kinnic Falls

To The Bridge Foundation provides grant dollars to support local organizations and projects that help people in recovery transition from treatment to sober living.

To the Bridge Foundation has had a long standing relationship going back to 2012, with Kinnic Falls Inc., a half way house in River Falls WI. We have been pleased to provide support for several projects that were a result of client feedback on areas that Kinnic Falls could provide a healthier environment to support recovery.

Gerber House Sober House

Kinnic Falls provides clients an opportunity to transition from half-way house living to sober living in River Falls, WI once they have achieved certain conditions in their recovery process. Gerber House needed a complete renovation and To the Bridge Foundation provided a significant grant to support that. All aspects of Gerber House were upgraded to encourage more suitable conditions for clients to continue their recovery.

New Mattresses

Kinnic Falls replaced over 50 mattresses in all of the rooms to help provide a more comfortable/restful environment. Many clients deal with various conditions that are aided when their mattresses are of higher quality.

Kinnic Falls Common Space

Kinnic Falls clients spend a lot of time in the common space of the facility with counselors and support meetings. To the Bridge Foundation provided a grant to upgrade furnishings and refresh the area to once again improve comfort.

Bike Rack

Many clients rely on bike transportation while at Kinnic Falls and this grant provided a covered space for them to store their bikes with more secured conditions out of the elements.
